Disney had a rather disappointing first half of the year, even though it delivered Hollywood's only billion-dollar blockbuster since January 1. While the movie in question, Lilo & Stitch, worked wonders for the studio, all three of its Marvel releases underperformed commercially. Worst of all, Disney's super-expensive live-action remake of Snow White emerged as one of its biggest-ever bombs. However, the movie has turned out to be quite a hit on streaming; it recently marked a major milestone on the Disney+ streaming service, where it has now completed three full months of release.
