The Season lands on Hulu and Disney+ in the US
The six-episode English-language series The Season is set to premiere in the U.S. this June 2026 on Hulu and Disney+. PCCW Media and SK Global back the project. For those not in the know, SK Global produced the acclaimed movie Crazy Rich Asians. Internationally, the show will stream on Viu across Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa, while audiences in Hong Kong can watch it on Now TV (via Deadline).
The series brings together a strong and diverse cast. Jessie Mei Li, Chris Pang, Lee Jae-yoon, Karena Lam, Justin Chien, Yvonne Chapman, Celina Jade, and Toby Stephens take the lead roles. The lineup also includes rising and crossover talent. Model-actor Kōki joins the project, along with singer Anson Lo from Mirror and Marf Yau from Collar.

The series dives into the lives of a close group of friends spending the summer in Hong Kong’s elite social scene. Their world revolves around horse races and high-end charity events during boating season. Life looks glamorous on the surface, but things start to crack fast. Hidden secrets, rising rivalries, and the arrival of a new figure named Cola shake the group. The drama quickly turns intense, pulling everyone into messy and emotional territory.
Janice Lee described the show as a redemption story with characters designed to connect with audiences worldwide. Executive producers Agatha Lo, Chloe Dan, Matt Aragachi, Dylan Tarason, and Aaron Shershow helped shape the series. They focused on blending slick visuals with strong storytelling, giving the revenge drama both style and depth.
The series is already generating buzz for its mix of high society glamour, suspense, and international talent. With its June debut, viewers can expect a visually rich, fast-paced drama that explores ambition, loyalty, and betrayal under the Hong Kong summer sun.
