Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar recently underwent a major surgery. She was diagnosed with tumour in her liver. Husband Shoaib Ibrahim has been constantly sharing her health updates after the diagnosis of Stage 2 liver cancer. In a recent post, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika Kakar has to undergo a 14-hour long surgery to remove the 'tennis ball-sized' tumour in her liver. He also revealed that the doctors had to remove her gallbladder as they diagnosed stones. Now, Shoaib Ibrahim has shared the first glimpse of the actress.

Just yesterday, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika Kakar is now out of ICU. The actress was in the ICU for three days post the long surgery but now she is on the path of recovery. Now, Shoaib took to his social media account to share a picture of the actress. He shared a picture of her hand giving her an envelope given by her father-in-law. It was the Eidi given to her on the occasion of Eid. Shoaib Ibrahim in the video also revealed that the Dipika Kakar has now started walking too post the surgery.

In the vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim explained everything about the surgery and why there was a panic situation. He said, "She was in the ICU for three days and her condition kept improving after the surgery. Around the evening, the doctors decided to shift her to the room. She will be here for a few days as the surgery was major. She was in the OT for 14 hours, At 6-7pm, we all panicked as there was no update from the OT as we had never witnessed such a serious operation. Thankfully, the doctor has assured me that if they don't come out for updates, then the surgery is going fine, and she will be all well." It made headlines in Entertainment News.

We wish Dipika Kakar a speedy recovery. The further course of treatment is yet to be known.
