He mentioned that the tumour was of a size of tennis-ball. Later, the actress got hospitalised due to high fever. The actress was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai for surgery. However, it had to be postponed as she developed high fever. The latest update is that her fever is under control and she is back home.

Shoaib Ibrahim has been active on social media and has been keeping all their fans posted about the latest health update of Dipika Kakar. In his latest Insta story, he wrote that Dipika has received discharge from hospital and is back home. He mentioned that the surgery will now take place next week. He urged all their fans to pray for the actress. He wrote, "To update you all about Dipika's health. Her fever is under control and she is back home... Mostly her surgery is scheduled in the next week if all goes as planned. Please keep her in your prayers."

Earlier, in a Vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed how Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar got diagnosed with live tumour. He mentioned that the actress was suffering from a stomach ache. Despite being on antibiotics, her pain worsened. She was then asked to undergo certain tests that revealed that she has a tumour. "Our doctor asked us to visit again and when we met him he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size like a tennis ball.
