The Equalizer, the TV adaptation that kicked off a franchise, is available to watchh now on the streaming service. The Equalizer is an adaptation of the 1980s TV series of the same name: it starred Edward Woodward (The Wicker Man) as Robert McCall, a veteran intelligence operative who atones for his amoral past actions by offering his services to those in need of "equalizing" the odds against a more powerful foe, often a crime boss or a corrupt official.
