Deadmau5 apologizes for drunken Coachella performance

On Friday night, EDM star Deadmau5 performed at Coachella as his his alter-ego/pseudonym Testpilot alongside dance producer ZHU. The duo were scheduled to perform back-to-back for several hours before their set on the new Quasar stage was cut short due to Deadmau5's apparent intoxication. After the set, Deadmau5 said in his Instagram comments that this was “probably my last Coachella.”

"In videos from the Quasar set, you can see Deadmau5 knocking back shots, toppling over, and spraying Silly String on ZHU while ZHU tries to DJ. When the set ends, a cartoonishly slurry Deadmau5 got on the mic to tell the crowd, “They were actually like, ‘That’s it!'”
