Finished reading this one last night before I went to bed……..I chose this one because this one kinda gave off some spooky haunted house vibes and I thought it would get me in the mood for Halloween. The only think I wasn’t expecting was that there would be some romance involved in this book……I thought this was just a spooky haunted house story and that was it.

The story involves Blair (the main character) and her roommates Evie, Violet and Phoebe who all live in the same house together near the college that they’re all attending. The group suspects that something has followed them home after visiting a haunted house on Halloween night. A few unusual things begin happening around their house immediately following that night. But it isn’t long before Blair meets the captain of the hockey team and sparks fly.

Well, the tension builds in the house at a really nice pace…….enough to hold my interest (I’m referring to the things going on in the house that the four girls live in). I didn’t see the end coming though. I was just as shocked as Blair at the events that unfolded there towards the end.

Synopsis: Do the dead ever truly stay dead? Or are the shadows something to fear?

A haunted house tour on Halloween night with three of her college best friends takes a twisted turn as Blair barely escapes with her life. The night may have ended…but the horrors are just beginning.

Soon after, their own home seems to come alive, making them question if they’re truly alone. As the paranormal activity rises to a fear-filled high, Blair discovers that the house isn’t the only thing haunting her…but also her past.

Now, Blair faces the challenge of solving the devastating mystery, or risk succumbing to the same torturous fate.
