A newly minted distribution outfit, Cartuna x Dweck, has announced that they have acquired the North American rights for Grace Glowicki’s horror comedy, Dead Lover. The film had its Texas premiere at SXSW on Sunday. A lonely gravedigger who stinks of corpses finally meets her dream man, but their whirlwind affair is cut short when he tragically drowns at sea. Grief-stricken, she goes to morbid lengths to resurrect him through madcap experiments. Our own Mel caught Dead Lover when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
