DC's classic Teen Titansteam is officially replaced by a new generation of heroes, who create the team's most unique line-up to date. The purpose of the Teen Titans is to provide a dedicated sanctuary and support network where young sidekicks can step out from the overwhelming shadows of their iconic mentors to forge their own independent identities. The concept was born in 1964 within the pages of The Brave and the Bold #54, matching Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad together. Since their Silver Age debut, the Titans have gone from a lighthearted, slang-talking youth club to a sophisticated institution of powerful heroes.
