Star Wars is resurrecting one of its greatest villains once again, as the upcoming animated series Maul – Shadow Lord finally allows Darth Maul to take center stage. Maul has been away from the screen since The Clone Wars ended in 2020, and his return to the franchise this time around has been inspired by two legends of the horror genre.
