‘Dark Winds’ Is at the End of an Era, but Titus Welliver Could Change That

The fourth season of Dark Winds was just as thrilling as the last. It put Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) to the test as he and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) and Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten) found themselves involved in a larger LA-based conspiracy that literally took them off the reservation. Ending the season on a cliffhanger and with Joe seemingly determined to retire, it feels like the AMC series is at the end of an era. Of course, with so many loose ends worth tying back together, the best way to make Season 5 feel congruous with the rest of the series is by bringing back last season's shadowy antagonist: Titus Welliver's Dominic McNair.
