Daredevil: One of MCU Show’s Biggest Stars Joins Another Huge TV Project as Born Again Ends

A fan-favorite Daredevil: Born Again star is joining a new series as the Marvel show heads toward its conclusion. Born Again will end with its third season, marking the end of the actor’s current run that began in the original Daredevil series in 2015.

Deborah Ann Woll has joined the cast of Hulu’s The Testaments Season 2, Deadline reports. Best known for portraying Karen Page in the MCU’s Daredevil series, she will be appearing as a guest star in The Testaments. Woll will play Sylvia, a seamstress who works near the wives and daughters of Gilead’s Commanders.

Luke Kirby is also joining the new season as a guest star. He plays Commander Fletcher, a recluse who lives on a farm in one of Gilead’s Colonies.

This comes after Born Again was confirmed to end recently. Reacting to the news, Woll took to Facebook to express her views. “Enjoy the last season, guys! We worked really hard on it. Grateful for you,” Woll wrote.

What else is Deborah Ann Woll known for starring in besides Daredevil?

Beyond Daredevil and its follow-up, Woll also reprised her Karen Page role in The Defenders and The Punisher. Before playing the MCU role, the actress rose to prominence with her role in HBO’s hit supernatural drama True Blood. Across its seven-season run, she played the charismatic Jessica Hamby and was part of the show’s SAG Award-nominated ensemble.

Her other notable TV appearances include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Quantum Leap, My Name Is Earl, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The Mentalist.

On the film side, she starred in the psychological horror film Escape Room and its 2021 follow-up. The 41-year-old also featured in Queen of the Ring, Ida Red, Seven Days in Utopia, Catch .44, Mother’s Day, and Ruby Sparks.

Woll is set to appear in the upcoming horror movie The Cycle. It premieres on streaming via Shudder on October 23, 2026
