War cinema used to be one of Hollywood's most dependable genres before the 2000s, constantly churning out classics on what felt like a yearly basis. But that pace has slowed to a crawl in recent decades. The closest thing to a true breakout in recent memory was Warfare, and that came out last year. Now, while the genre keeps waiting for its next big title, one of its most acclaimed entries is finally getting a second life on streaming.
