Damar Hamlin is staying in Buffalo.
The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a one-year extension with the starting safety, the team announced Wednesday.
Hamlin earned a full-time safety position this past season, nearly two years after he suffered a cardiac arrest episode in January 2023.
The safety recorded a career-high two interceptions and five passes defended in 14 starts. He also registered 89 total tackles and two tackles for loss.
The 26-year-old also forced a fumble on Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson that led to a Bills touchdown in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Hamlin is just the latest free-agent move for Buffalo, as the team reportedly added defensive end Joey Bosa and Canadian wide receiver Josh Palmer, amongst others.
