Today, the Part of Fortune, which combines your Sun, Moon and Rising signs, applies to Mercury in Scorpio. You will gain greater perspective.
Aries, Taurus and Gemini, allow yourself to rethink a core belief. Staying set in your ways will not serve you well.
Keep things moving forward, and remain open-minded, as your flexibility will be rewarded by the cosmos. Follow your intuition rather than your knowledge.
Ahead, you’ll find all star signs’ horoscopes for today: Thursday November 5, 2026.

Aries
March 21 to April 20
The Part of Fortune applies to Mercury today, in deep Scorpio. This gives you a great chance to recheck something that you had thought was sorted, because their joint energies, and a bit of detective work on your part, could tease out some extra value or a different perspective that could prove valuable. This might be financial or a more spiritual recognition.

Taurus
April 21 to May 21
There was a phrase that was once popular called “the art of listening”. These days that seems to be something many people are unprepared to do, and that can create barriers and distance. However, there is a chance today, if you give it a little space to breathe, to gain a lot from someone else’s perception or view of life – even if you are not in a conversation with them.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21
As the Sun edges away from its midweek clinch with your ruler Mercury, this has given you a chance to both rethink something key but also to take action on it. Maybe a conversation has surprised you by someone’s directness, or perhaps it’s you who has zeroed in on the heart of a matter. The key now is to use the insights from this in some kind of practical way.

Cancer
June 22 to July 23
With both the planet of communication and the planet of affection retracing their steps in the most social part of your chart, it would be of little surprise if your thoughts have been on how you can rekindle interests, hobbies or social interactions, which were once a larger part of your situation. Equally, you may still be pondering recent strands that have lost their allure.

Leo
July 24 to August 23
There is a lot of charismatic energy coming from planets in your sign, Leo, and this is urging you to be bold and take the initiative. Strangely, in the last few days you may have experienced some inertia. It might not be that you have lost the spark around what inspires you, more that some sensitive thoughts, or a sharp comment from someone close, proved distracting.

Virgo
August 24 to September 23
Sometimes when we rethink something, we can get to a sharper outcome very quickly. Other times it can be more of a process. Yours could be in a period of change, and even how you express yourself could be going through a subtle but powerful reset. You may also be considering certain interests, beliefs or connections. In time, all this will clarify nicely.

Libra
September 24 to October 23
Not everything that we value has a financial worth. Ironically, you can consider both strands today. As the Moon arrives back in your sign, the deep reflection of the last couple of days can bring you more into the moment, and see you considering some key costs, and where you can economise, but also a greater appreciation of something or someone that you hold dear.

Scorpio
October 24 to November 22
If a plan has stalled, or even a potential involvement, you may be both frustrated yet determined to find your way through the maze. This is a time when your need to do things on your own terms is that much stronger, but just know that even if there is a pause, you will ultimately find the path that suits you, even if you do have to flex to deal with others’ responses.

Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21
A friend who is both perceptive and discreet can be of great benefit today. We all have people in our lives who suit us best when we are feeling bubbly and upbeat, and others that chime with our quieter times. Today it may be the latter. Indeed, someone who is good at keeping confidences could call out to you, or perhaps even a chat with a life coach or counsellor, Archer.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 21
The recent focus on deeper matters may have had you looking beneath the surface of something, rather than simply accepting what you have been told. Today, as the Moon moves into Libra, a more balanced perspective can emerge. You may find that seeing another person’s position doesn’t mean agreeing with it, but it could help you decide how best to go forward.

Aquarius
January 22 to February 19
A thought that has been quietly working away in the background may suddenly begin to make more sense. With Mercury retracing its steps in Scorpio, there can be value in revisiting an idea, conversation or piece of information that you previously dismissed. The Moon’s move reminds you that sometimes another person’s experience can broaden your own view considerably.

Pisces
February 20 to March 20
You may be quietly reassessing what gives you a sense of purpose and what no longer does. The Sun and Mercury’s recent meeting can have stirred up some deep thoughts but today is less about finding an immediate answer and more about noticing what keeps returning to your mind. A conversation, memory or unexpected insight could help you see this differently.
