Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand claimed the doubles title at the WTA Finals after a 7-5, 6-3 win over Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend on Saturday.
Dabrowski became the first Canadian to win a WTA Finals title.
The tie was a rematch of this year’s Wimbledon final, which the Czech and American team won 7-6 (5), 7-6 (1).
