It is one of Netflix's biggest shows and has spun off into a Broadway play and more. But that's not enough to keep the Duffer Brothers on Netflix's payroll. The two creatives shared with Variety that there is an important reason they felt the need to move on from Netflix in their next adventure: Theatrical runs.
