Council leader rejects ‘shallow’ call for more women in senior roles

The Liberal Democrat leader of St Albans City & District Council, Paul de Kort, has rejected a Labour call for more women to be included among the authority’s lead councillors, describing it as “shallow” and “politically motivated”.
