Coronation Street star Alan Halsall reveals stunning new girlfriend a year after split from co-star

CORONATION Street favourite Alan Halsall has gone Instagram official with his stunning new girlfriend.

The soap star, 42, shared a picture of himself and daughter Sienna with Ellie Dolan, 25, along with the caption “Friday [love heart].”

The Mirror reports that Alan met human resources coordinator Ellie at the Marriott Worsley Park golf club.

A source said: “Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl and they have lots in common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan. Sienna is his world.“

His relationship with the mum-of-two is already said to be “serious” and comes 15 months months after he split from Corrie co-star Tisha Merry.

After their romance came to an end, an insider told us: “Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together.

“But they started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them.

“They realised they weren’t on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option.

“They’ve been focusing on themselves and surrounding themselves with their own friends.”

Tisha, who played bubbly barmaid Steph Britton in the soap, moved house late last year and described her 2024 as an “impossible year”.

They got together in 2019, a year after Alan divorced Lucy-Jo Hudson, with whom he shares Sienna, 11.

Alan opened up about his relationship with his ex-wife on I’m A Celebrity in December.

He said: “Lucy left Corrie in about 2005, then we got married in 2009. We then split up after Sienna was born.

“I love what I’ve got, even now I’m on my own I love just being dad. I’ve never done dating apps.”

While things between Alan and Lucy, 41, might not always be amicable, she had nothing but praise for him when he tackled the jungle show.

 The actress, who is loved-up with new man Lewis Devine, told Good Morning Britain: “She [Sienna] loved it.

“She was really, really proud.

“It’s a difficult situation, we are not together and I’m with Lewis, and we spoke about what do we do in the situation because he’s [Alan’s] away, he’s in Australia.

“It was so she could enjoy it with someone as well, and the highs and the lows were there for her.

“So she loved it, really proud. He did great.”
