This article contains spoilers for tonight’s Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX.

Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) was not having a good day in tonight’s Coronation Street when her work van was stolen, before she was threatened with arrest herself!

Things got off to a bad start for Tracy in the café, when she was confronted by Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) over her role in Rob Donovan’s revenge plot.

Rob took Tracy, Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) hostage last month – an ordeal which resulted in Betsy being shot and losing feeling in her arm.

The injury has taken its toll on her, though Tracy showed little empathy after the teen’s outburst.

However, she would soon find herself on the receiving end of Betsy’s wrath, with shocking consequences.

When Tracy left her work van unattended, furious Betsy took the opportunity to get her own back, climbing into the back to destroy the contents of the van.

She was caught by fellow teen Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), who climbed in beside Betsy in an attempt to talk her out of her escapades, but soon found herself being swept along for the ride.

As Tracy emerged from the shop, Betsy urged Lauren to put her foot down, and the pair sped off toward the precinct, where they promptly crashed.

Lauren admitted that she hadn’t yet passed her test as she panicked that getting caught would result in her losing son Frankie.

As the police arrived, Betsy shooed her away, deciding to take the full blame – much to the horror of her detective mother.

DS Swain was furious when Betsy refused to answer questions during her interrogation, pointing out that she couldn’t possibly have acted alone, given that she couldn’t move her arm.

However, Betsy stuck to her story of being alone in the van, insisting that Tracy had deserved it.

After returning to the flat, Betsy broke down in tears as Lisa railed at her, admitting that she was struggling to cope with her injury and how unfair it was that Tracy’s life had just gone back to normal.

Though Betsy had been allowed to come home, Tracy wasn’t prepared to let her off the hook, and soon came barging into the flat demanding she face consequences.

Ever the defensive mother, Lisa put her foot down and ordered Tracy to let the court decide Betsy’s fate before demanding that she leave.

When Tracy made no attempt to move toward the door, instead turning to rant at Betsy again, Lisa threatened to arrest her.

Will Tracy drop her grudge against Betsy, or will she continue to seek justice, risking her own freedom in the process?

Elsewhere, Lauren was relieved when Betsy informed her that she had kept her name out of her statement – but it would seem that that might be the least of her worries.

After Betsy left, Lauren received a text from an unsaved number claiming that the sender knows what she’s done.

Is Lauren set to be caught out? And who is behind the mystery number? Could it be Tracy?
