
The NYT Connections May 14 edition is back with another tricky word puzzle created by NYT Games editor Wyna Liu. The objective of the Connections game is to sort 16 random words into four groups categorized by a connecting theme, which the player must identify. The players must solve it within four guesses. Additionally, the groups are color-coded according to their difficulty level.

Here are some hints for each group to give you a little boost forward:
Yellow Group: For the first category, think of words associated with taking blood. Green Group: All four words in this collection are the first parts of words. Yellow Group: DRAW, PULL, SUCK, and WICK (Absorb Using Capillary Action)
Green Group: HYPER, KILO, META, and NEO (Greek Prefixes)

The yellow group has the easiest connecting theme to identify. Hence, we recommend sorting it out first to weed out four words quickly. The purple group has the trickiest words. However, if you manage to solve the green and blue groups, the remaining words will automatically sort the puzzle. We advise players to be mindful of the “one away…” notification and use it wisely before the four guesses are up.
