Conclave Viewership is Up After Death of Pope Francis

As expected, viewership for Conclave has increased since the death of Pope Francis on Sunday, going up 238% so far. The film follows a behind the scenes look on the Vatican’s election of a new pope following the death of a fictional pope. Although the film was a favorite during this year’s awards season, it ultimately lost the Academy Award for Best Picture to Anora.
