Conan O’Brien is officially set to return to HBO Max with another season of his hit travel series Conan O’Brien Must Go. Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that Season 3 of the comedy series will make its debut on August 21, 2026, following the success of its first two installments.

The upcoming season will feature four episodes, which will be an increase from Season 2’s three-episode run. Following its premiere, HBO Max will release one new episode each week, with the season concluding on September 11, 2026.

This season will once again follow O’Brien as he travels overseas to meet listeners he first connected with through Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan, the podcast spin-off of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. During each visit, the comedian experiences local traditions and cultures while spending time with the fans who invited him to their home countries.

According to LateNighter, the season opens with O’Brien’s long-planned trip to India, a destination he had hoped to feature since the Conan Without Borders era. The remaining episodes will take him to the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Morocco.

Since its debut, Conan O’Brien Must Go has received widespread critical acclaim, earning two Emmy Awards. The series also holds an 88 percent critics score and an 84 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. HBO Max has not yet announced whether the show will continue with a fourth season.
