Bandai Namco shared a Code Vein 2 release date during the TGS 2025 State of Play, as well as a new trailer for the game. The sequel will show up on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 30, 2026. This falls in line with the confirmed 2026 release window that came up alongside the first announcement.

We then learn that the goal is for our character and a Revenant named Lou Magmell to save the world they’re currently in by heading into the past. The rest of the video tends to focus on battles and gameplay, though there are some cinematic elements that showcase some allies and villains. We also get a better idea of some of the attacks, environments, and enemies we'll get to face.
