Cleaner Max Release Date Set for Daisy Ridley Movie’s Streaming Debut

The Cleaner HBO Max release date has been announced for Quiver Distribution’s newest action thriller led by Star Wars vet Daisy Ridley. This comes after more than two months since the movie had its U.S. theatrical release.

“Set in present-day London, a group of radical activists take over an energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts,” reads the synopsis. “Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. It falls to an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, played by Ridley, suspended 50 stories up on the outside of the building, to save those trapped inside, including her younger brother.”

When is the Cleaner Max release date?

Cleaner will be available for streaming on Friday, June 13, on HBO Max. This will then be followed by its broadcast debut on HBO on Saturday, June 14. The ensemble cast also includes One Piece live-action star Taz Skylar, Oscar nominee Clive Owen, Bridgerton’s Ruth Gemmell, and more. Since its theatrical release, the movie has received a Tomatometer rating of 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie was directed by Martin Campbell from a screenplay written by Simon Uttley, Paul Andrew Williams, and Matthew Orton. It was executive produced by Uttley, Alex Ashworth, Alastair Burlingham, Mikayla Campbell, Martha Chima, Pieter Engels, Bharatha Gangasani, Barry Germansky, Alan Harper, Linda Harper, Patti Harper, Stanley Harper, Lee Harrison, Jane Hooks, Matthew Orton, Gary Raskin, Kelly Reiter, Malcolm Ritchie, Michael Santos, Marcus Shirock, and Michael Torchia.
