Smith, a New York City-based designer known for dressing stars like Halle Berry, also celebrated the moment by posting Ciara’s look on Instagram. “A love letter to bold eras and even bolder women,” he wrote, noting that the design was ‘inspired by the geometry of Art Deco and the fearlessness of Josephine Baker.‘
