Christina shaken to the core in Coronation Street spoiler video as unexpected connection to Lucy story is made

Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) has been a resident of Coronation Street for a while now, but we still don’t really know a lot about her.

Introduced as Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) biological mother, Christina has become a popular member of the Weatherfield community.

In a relationship with George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), Christina spends her days dealing with drama involving him or surrogate son Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), and hanging out with girlfriends including Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Mary Taylor (Patti Clare).

While the ITV soap has fleshed out Christina’s life in on the cobbles, it’s yet to explore her past in great detail.

But it seems that is beginning to change.

The possibility of Christina hiding something from George increases tenfold in Coronation Street soon, as this new video shows her having a worrying reaction to something at Shuttleworth’s.

At the funeral parlour, Christina is busy helping George with some paperwork ahead of Rachel’s funeral.

Rachel Parkinson died earlier this year after apparently being murdered by her partner Richie (Nathan Sussex), who is Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) cousin.

Following Rachel’s death and Richie being sent to prison, their daughter Lucy (Anya Dewin) moved in with Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).

Lucy continued to tell everyone that Richie killed Rachel during a moment of self defense, however, after a recent episode, it seems the father and daughter aren’t being completely honest about their story.

As the spoiler video continues, George heads off, and Christina glances at Rachel’s death certificate.

She looks at the information and is taken aback. When George asks what’s wrong, an overwhelmed Christina makes for a swift exit.

Given her reaction, Christina definitely knows something about either Lucy, Rachel or Richie – but what is it?

Is she connected to them?
