It has become the norm now in the One Chicago universe that every new season brings in some fresh blood. Chicago Fire has seen a revolving door of cast members in the past several years, but it has maintained some of its long-time cast members. Last season hinted at Dermot Mulroney's potential departure after Rob Morgan was cast as the temporary chief, and Mulroney's exit has now been confirmed. Meanwhile, production for the fifteenth season is underway, and the show has already begun adding new characters.
