It’s now been 25 years since Derek Haas made his feature writing debut in the Billy Zane-led TV movie, Invincible, and Haas has since become one of the most important TV scribes in the history of network television. Haas followed his work on Invincible by penning the script for other projects like 2 Fast 2 Furious, 3:10 to Yuma, and Overdrive, but the last few years are when he’s really carved out a name for himself as a great writer. Last year, Haas wrote and created all episodes of the Jensen Ackles-led crime series, Countdown, which was canceled after only one season by Prime Video. This certainly stung, considering there were possible plans for future seasons, but Haas has a trio of shows to fall back on that will keep him occupied.
