Charlie Woods fires hole-in-one at TPC Sawgrass

Charlie Woods has authored a moment to remember at an iconic golf course.

The 16-year-old made a hole-in-one at TPC Sawgrass’ third hole during the Junior Players Championship on Sunday in Ponte Vedra, Fla.

Woods, the son of golfing great Tiger Woods, sat tied for 38th (7-over) through two rounds of the American Junior Golf Association tournament heading into Sunday’s third and final round.

In May, Woods won the Team Taylormade Invitational for his first career AJGA victory.

Miles Russell, the 15th-ranked amateur, led the event by four shots at 7-under heading into Sunday’s action.
