Celebrity Big Brother’s JoJo Siwa has realised ‘she’s not a lesbian’

Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has revealed that she’s no longer sure that she identifies as a lesbian.

Tuesday night was a savage triple eviction as Angellica Bell, Ella Rae Wise, and Patsy Palmer were axed from the show.

During the live stream of the show following the hectic night, JoJo, 21, could be heard confiding in drag queen Danny Beard about her sexual identity.

In a private chat in the bedroom, she said: ‘I feel so queer.’

Danny replied: ‘I’m queer!’

The former Dance Moms star added: ‘I’ve never – I think I’ve always told myself, I’m a lesbian. I think you – I think being here – I’ve realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer.’

‘And I think that’s really cool, I’m switching letters! I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q baby! That’s what I love about sexuality.’

JoJo came out as pansexual in 2021 but has described herself as gay in recent interviews. 

This star is dating Australian actor, writer, presenter and content creator Kath Ebbs.

The couple went public in January this year, with JoJo saying she was ‘so happy’ and in a ‘very mature relationship’.

‘It’s taught me so much about life. It’s taught me so much about love and respect, and it’s a beautiful thing,’ she told People.

‘It’s different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn’t even know what to say the biggest is ‘cause just everything is so different and special.’

Kath has defended her girlfriend while she’s been on the show and spoke out against Rourke when he told her that she ‘won’t be gay anymore’ after four days with him.

He made other comments, including that he would ‘tie her up’ and that he was planning to ‘vote the lesbian out real quick’.

In a social media post, Ebbs said the comments were ‘beyond disgusting’ and criticised the show for airing such ‘dangerous language’.

Rourke has since been kicked out of the house for aggressive behaviour towards Chris Hughes and inappropriate sexual comments to Ella Rae Wise.

Kath recently disabled her Instagram comments following an influx of claims that her girlfriend is ‘cheating on her’ with Chris.

JoJo has formed a close relationship in the house with Chris, which has been dubbed ‘weird’ by some critics, but defended by others who have emphasised that platonic relationships exist.

The dynamic duo gravitated towards one another early doors when he defended her against homophobic language used by Mickey Rourke.

In the weeks since, they’ve developed a sweet, tactile bond, which often sees them cuddling in bed, giving one another back rubs, and sharing deep conversations.

Chris confessed in an episode last week that he would kiss JoJo if he had the chance, to which she joked ‘sucks to be you!’

Last week, the pair were caught exchanging secret messages and were ultimately forced to reveal what they were discussing: her gender identity.

She commented at the time: ‘It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about, but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.

‘Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.’

She then clarified that she suspects she may identify as non-binary.

She said: ‘I’ve met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It’s not something that I want to say about myself yet but it’s something that is confusing. So, that’s probably why we were talking about it last night.’
