If Star Trek: The Original Series were made in 2026, these eight actors would be ideal for the eight main roles. The Star Trek franchise has already recast the roles of Star Trek: The Original Series twice. First, they selected a new cast for the Kelvin timeline, which gave us Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk and Zachary Quinto’s Spock. More recently, Paramount+ brought together a new cast for the TV show Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Considering thatStar Trek series won’t release the last season until next year, there’s no reason to believe that they’d bring together a new cast anytime soon.
