CARLO ANCELOTTI has been named as the new Brazil manager.

The Italian will leave his job as Real Madrid boss at the end of the season.

He suffered an early exit in the Champions League quarter-finals to Arsenal and will in all likelihood be pipped to the LaLiga title by Barcelona.

And now Ancelotti will take over as Selecao chief ahead of next year’s World Cup.

He becomes the first foreign head coach of Brazil’s national team, which has won a record five World Cups.
