Carla Connor (Alison King) is set to seek clarity from girlfriend Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) in upcoming Coronation Street scenes after the detective makes an unexpected move.
This week, the aftermath of Craig Tinker’s (Colson Smith) brutal attack puts things into perspective for Lisa.
Craig was struck over the head with a baseball bat by Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) and left for dead in recent scenes.
In upcoming episodes, he will continue fighting for his life as he is rushed to hospital, only for his condition to deteriorate as he attempts to tell colleague Jess what happened to him.
When Lisa receives a call from Jess updating her on Craig’s condition, what will she find out?

Returning home after her traumatic day, Lisa tells Carla that she wants to grab happiness wherever she can.
It’s no wonder Lisa is keen to look to the future, given the trauma both she and Carla have already suffered in their brief relationship.
Since making things official last November, Carla has had a bleed on the brain, contracted sepsis and needed a kidney transplant, while Lisa discovered the truth about her wife’s murder and had to support Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) through the tragic loss of boyfriend Mason.

Not to mention the fact that both Carla and Lisa were held hostage by Rob Donovan twice in as many months, resulting in Lisa shooting her own daughter and the couple almost breaking up.
Thankfully, they were able to get things back on track, and have even worked through their disagreements on how to handle Betsy.
However, next week, Carla wants to know if Lisa is serious, and asks if she meant what she said about their future.
What will Lisa say?
