A car smashed into several people leaving one with potentially life-changing injuries.
Police were called to reports of fighting on a residential road in Caerau shortly after midnight today.
Three people are thought to have been struck by a car during the disorder, with one currently in hospital with serious injuries.
A large cordon is in place, and the road is closed in both directions while an investigation continues.

A police spokesman said: ‘South Wales Police was called just before 12.30am this morning with a report that the driver of a car had collided with several pedestrians on Heol Trelai in Caerau area of Cardiff.
‘Currently, we believe that three people were struck by the car, with one person suffering serious injuries that may be life-changing.
‘To ensure a thorough investigation, a large cordon is in place around the area with the road currently being closed in both directions between Caerau Lane and Church Road.
‘We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to gather more information and progress with our inquiries.’
