Through a series of sci-fi circumstances, the fairytale world that M'Benga's (Babs Olusanmok) daughter Rukiya dreamed up returns just in time to teach La'an (Christina Chong) a very important lesson about accepting both the dark and light parts of herself. In this version of the fairytale, we once again come across La'an's soft and genteel alter ego, Princess Thalia, and now she has her loyal lover in tow in the form of James Kirk's (Paul Wesley) alter ego, Prince Dashing, who happens to have a dark side himself.
