The MCU’s last film perfectly set up the main storyline of Daredevil: Born Again, though it’s unclear whether it was on purpose. After an official MCU follow-up to the Netflix Daredevil series was announced, fans started anticipating how Matt Murdock’s world was going to fit into the greater universe. Now that he is truly part of the MCU canon, it means that other projects can be taken into consideration when analyzing the events of Daredevil: Born Again. The latest MCU film never mentions Daredevil directly, but it does coincidentally set up part of Matt’s Born Again universe.
