Inspired by real stories from Tokyo’s LGBTQ+ community, Anshul Chauhan’s Tiger follows a young man as he navigates the Japanese capital’s underground queer scene, while also struggling to reconcile his chosen lifestyle with the one he left behind. Tiger had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, competing in the Vision Asia section.    Young, fit and attractive, Taiga (Takashi Kawaguchi) works at a men-only massage parlour, where he is regularly expected to perform “extra services” for his clients. He is also hoping to break into the gay porn scene, and divides his time between auditions and cruising the club scene with his friend and fellow masseur Benjiro (Kosei Kudo).
