Britain’s biggest union allows trans woman to run in female seat

Britain’s biggest trade union has allowed a trans woman to run for a senior female role despite the landmark Supreme Court ruling on gender. Ellie Waple is running for the female disabled member’s seat on the Unison national executive committee.
