Appearing on the ITV talent show on Saturday night, Red Panda shocked viewers as she balanced bowls on her head while balancing on a unicycle.

“We need something like Red Panda to win BGT,” penned one fan.

While another said: “Amazing from Red Panda, outside bet to win I reckon. Think some of the younger Royals would like her act.”

Some fans quickly realised that Red Panda actually shot to fame on Season 8 of America’s Got Talent.

In 2013, withdrew from the competition for personal reasons, but she was brought back as a wild card in the semifinals before being eliminated.

And AGT isn’t the only other television programme Red Panda has popped up on.

Some other viewers were quick to point out how the unicyclist appears in the new Netflix show, Running Point.

Running Point is a comedy series starring Kate Hudson.

The show is about basketball, and Red Panda appears in a scene as a halftime show act.

“Any one else realise red panda is on the Netflix show running point!?” said one person on Reddit.

“Watching @BGT when I hear Red Panda, it can’t be. I only just finished watching @netflix Running Point,” said another on X.

“Running Point on Netflix isn’t very good but one thing they did get right is recognizing that Red Panda is the gold standard in halftime entertainment” added a third.

While a fourth penned: “Quick Google search – Red Panda has been performing as a professional at NBA games since 1993!”

She was invited to perform when they needed a last-minute replacement for a cancelled act.

The next game season then saw her perform during halftime of over 40 NBA games.

She soon developed a “cult following” among fans, with her even dubbed as “the best halftime act in basketball”.

In 2018, Red Panda spoke out in an interview with AL.com.

“I love it. I love performing,” she said.

“When the music starts, it’s so familiar. I get so excited. I’m really into the act.

“The beginning is much more enjoyable. It’s fun later the act goes on.

“It’s only five and a half minutes with no mistakes. The later the act goes on, the minutes and minutes and the pressure gets higher and higher.”
