The Valero Texas Open is seeing some of the best performances this month, with one of the best coming from the World No. 49, Brian Harman. Currently, in its second round, Harman has given us a peek into what he’s capable of. In the second round, Harman made 8 birdies, 2 eagles, and the rest, even pars. So, will he win the Oaks Course? Only time can tell, however, looking at his game, you cannot help but wonder, “What’s going on in that bag of his?” Well, let’s look at every club in his bag, one by one, starting with his driver.

Interestingly, Brian Harman is a Titleist fanboy. He begins his game with a Titleist TSi2 driver. Harman’s driver has a 9° loft, a 58.5° lie angle, and a 460cc head. It is designed for players like Harman looking for exceptional speed and accuracy across the face. Additionally, it features a lower center of gravity to enhance distance through Speed Optimized MOI design. Additionally, Harman’s model is fixed with a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ 5 S shaft, with the driver costing $549.

His fairway woods come from the same brand, Titleist. And there are two fairway woods choices in his bag. The two Titleist TS2 fairway woods are a 3-wood with 13.5° of loft and a 5-wood with a 16.5° loft. But these fairway woods are a favorite among Tour players, providing golfers like Harman high launch and forgiveness across the face. That, in turn, results from its deeper and lower center of gravity. Harman’s fairway woods are fitted with a Fujikura Speeder 661 Evolution II S shaft. This club costs $249.98.

Additionally, we have Brian Harman’s irons. Brian Harman carries three Titleist U500 utility irons, including three-iron to five-iron, fitted with X HZRDUS Smoke Black 90 shafts. Essentially, the designers created these clubs for versatility and distance, featuring a hollow body construction that improves forgiveness and launch. It costs $199. Lastly, Harman uses Titleist 620 CB irons, from six-iron to pitching wedge. These, too, are fixed with True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shafts. So, these boost a classic cavity-back design that provides an improved feel and control, making them suitable for Harman. It costs $1,400. Whew, we are finally done with three of Harman’s important clubs. However, now let’s take a look at the rest of it!

Brian Harman’s wedges and putter in the 2025 season

Firstly, let’s look at Brian Harman’s wedges. Harman’s bag consists of Titleist Vokey Design SM9 models, including a 50-08F, a 54-10S, and a WedgeWorks 60-04L. The first one features a versatile grind for improved performance on various shots, while the second one offers a standard bounce for all-around playability. Lastly, the WedgeWorks 60- 04L helps with enhanced lob shots with a low bounce. Essentially, his trusted True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts fit them. Consequently, these shafts help provide excellent feel and control for precision shots around the green!

For the putter, Brian Harman’s bag will introduce us to a different brand, TaylorMade Spider 5K-ZT. It first came in the news when Jason Day used it at the 2025 API, however, it is still certainly a buzz. Harman first used it at the Valero Texas Open! Harmans’s putter features a zero torque design with the shaft installed directly behind the face and centered in the body. Consequently, this design provides balance, allowing the toe to sit up and keeping the face aligned toward the target throughout the stroke. Pretty cool. It costs $349.00.

The Pro V1 ball launches lower and spins less than its ancestor Pro V1x, delivering excellent all-around performance. It costs $50 per dozen and has a slightly softer feel and a lower peak height compared to the Pro V1x. Lastly, take a look at his shoes. And, once again, it’s another new brand, FootJoy. The brand’s Tour Alpha offers an ideal combination of comfort and performance, featuring excellent heel support and grip for stable swings at maximum power. Additionally, its clean, premium design appeals to a wide audience, and it costs $93.36.
