Brad Pitt & David Fincher’s OUATIH Cliff Booth Movie Gets New Title, Watch Video

Brad Pitt‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follow-up film has a new title. Netflix has officially revealed a new title for David Fincher‘s upcoming Cliff Booth movie in a brief teaser, while also confirming its IMAX and streaming release dates.

On Wednesday, August 26, Netflix revealed that Pitt’s upcoming OUATIH Cliff Booth film will be called The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. It is scheduled to open in IMAX theaters on November 25, 2026, for a two-week engagement. Later, it will premiere on the streaming platform on December 23

This is not the first time the film has received a title change. The film’s first teaser debuted during the Super Bowl in February. At the time, it was titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth. That was a shortened version of the title reported in 2025, when the film was reportedly titled The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth.

What else do we know about Brad Pitt and David Fincher’s Cliff Booth movie?

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is written by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino. Pitt will reprise his role as Hollywood stuntman Cliff Booth, with the story taking place about eight years after the events of the first film. Set in 1977, the film follows Booth as he navigates a “very different Hollywood.”

Tarantino revealed that he opted out of directing the film because he did not want his next directorial effort, which is reportedly his last, to be a sequel. He said, “I love this script, but I’m still walking down the same ground I’ve already walked.”

Despite the movie receiving a limited theatrical release, it was reported that Fincher did not push for a major theatrical release. According to the report, Fincher has a strong working relationship with Netflix and would likely continue sending his films to the streamer sooner rather than later. The report also stated that he was working on another project for the streaming giant and appeared comfortable with the arrangement.

Alongside Pitt, the upcoming Cliff Booth film’s cast also includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller, among others.
