A 16-year-old boy has died at an amusement park in Wales.

The boy, named as Taha Soomro, was found suffering a medical episode at Barry Island Pleasure Park in the Vale of Glamorgan on Friday evening.

Taha, from Grangetown in Cardiff, was declared dead at the scene.

Now South Wales Police says a 15-year-old boy, also from Grangetown, has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

The suspect is currently in custody.

The force is investigating the death and has asked people not to speculate about the incident on social media.

They’re also asking anyone who was at Barry Island Pleasure Park or may have footage taken around the time of the incident to come forward.
