Despite spending years never quite escaping the shadow of its legendary predecessor, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has been picking up plenty of momentum online, especially as its story is fleshed out in the sequel manga, Two Blue Vortex. The series continues to garner more ratings on Crunchyroll and has a respectably large following backing its endearingly imperfect anime run. But beyond impressive animation and admittedly great music, the Boruto anime has a particularly bothersome trend of filler baked into its enormous anime run that's hard to ignore.
