The Democratic Party is not in the grip of a “Bolshevik revolution,” as House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana) claimed from the stage of the GOP’s midterm convention last week in Dallas. Nor is it true, as President Donald Trump declared, that “it’s going to be a communist country” if the Democrats win in November.
