An impressive number of World of Warcraftplayers use private servers, and Blizzard has just filed a lawsuit against a massive server provider. Officially, World of Warcraft offers several different ways to play the game, with options to experience the Classic version or embrace all the updates made in more recent years. Third-party servers can still fill in certain gaps, however, offering their own takes on the state of the game.
