Life can get pretty hectic in the West Texas oil fields where Tommy Norris works in Landman, but Billy Bob Thornton’s character has plenty of one-liners and sardonic remarks to keep the show balanced. Norris is the fixer for M-TEX, a smaller-scale oil company out of Midland, Texas. Some of Tommy’s funniest lines come from working in the oil patch, but others stem from the chaos of her personal life, with Landman’s characters comprising the entire Norris family.
