The Bet trailer reveals a new Netflix series based on a hit manga filled with high-stakes gambling, revenge, and death. Based on the Japanese manga Kakegurui (which translates to "Compulsive Gambler") by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura, Netflix's upcoming English-language live-action adaptation is set in an elite private school in which a student's social hierarchy is determined through a cutthroat underground gambling circuit. Miku Martineau leads the show's cast alongside Ayo Solanke, Eve Edwards, Clara Alexandrova, Hunter Cardinal, Anwen O’Driscoll, Aviva Mongillo, and Ryan Sutherland.
