Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It’s time once again for our look back at the noteworthy updates of the last seven days. There are a few new faces in this week’s round-up to go with the usual suspects. Overall, I think it’s a decent mix for you to read over while you have your morning/afternoon/evening coffee/tea. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly summary is just here to fill you in on the things you might have missed. Let’s go for it!

Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Time for another update to Hello Kitty Island Adventure, bringing more things to do with the Sanrio gang. Indeed, this is a very big one. You get a whole new area called Merry Meadow, and with it comes a new friend, the adorable bunny Wish me mell. Yes, the capitalization is like that. I don’t care for it either. Another new thing in this update is the ability to start your own flower garden! That’s nifty. The Springtime Celebration event is on its way, too. There’s even more in here, so make sure you update your game and jump in to see it all.

MARVEL Future Fight, Free Wow, another Marvel Future Fight update that brings new playable characters with it. This time we have… Quasar (Wendell Vaughn version), and the Galadorian Spaceknight Ikon. Comic-savvy folks will probably recognize this as an Annihilators-themed update just from those two alone. In keeping with that, Gladiator and Beta Ray Bill get some new uniforms, and those same two get their Tier-4 advancements. Some balance tweaks have been made in favor of the player, and new players in particular will find extra rewards waiting for them. I guess we’re at that point of the game’s life. But hey, new threads for Beta Ray Bill! What more do you need?

Hill Climb Racing, Free This is one of those updates that applies to both this regular version of the game and its Apple Arcade counterpart. So what’s new here? A new level! The Mega Desert. Kids love driving in the desert, I’m told. But what about kids who don’t love driving in the desert? One other new level! The Mega Highway. You really have all your bases covered here, as long as your bases only include a desert and a highway. Throw in some bug fixes and performance improvements, and that’s the lot.

Subway Surfers, Free Subway Surfers is kicking off Women’s History Month with a trip to Las Vegas starring the Supernova girl ban. You can unlock the singing superstar Stella and her Interstellar Board via the Season Challenge and Daily Login Calendar, and when you need a break from that you can make a return trip to the Plant Invasion event. Dodge those vines and you’ll have a chance to unlock Astra and her Astro Tune Board in the Season Hunt. Some cool goodies up for grabs this time, and who doesn’t like flashy locations like Vegas in a game like this?

BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team, Everything has seasons now, I’ve observed. What’s next, the Earth having seasons? That would be quite the show! Quite… quite the show. Yes, Shaun is trying to stretch a paragraph again. You know what that means: brief update notes. You get a new character here, Trish the Triceratops Healer, and a new map for Team Deathmatch. Wait, does Trish heal triceratopses, or is she a healer who is a triceratops? Let me look into that. Oh dang! She is a triceratops! That’s pretty cool. You wouldn’t expect a triceratops to be a healer, either. Talk about playing against type. Way to go, Trish!

Cypher 007, James Bond is reporting for duty on his next mission. This time he’ll need to head to Egypt, where he along with Anya Amasova and Max Kalba will have to tackle five new stages inspired by The Spy Who Loved Me. Play your cards right and you’ll find all kinds of cool new goodies, including the iconic Black Tuxedo and the new Wallet Drone gadget. That’s a good enough update for me to award this game the coveted UMMSotW for this week. Perhaps the most prestigious honor 007 has ever received, if you ask me. Which you did not.

Junkworld TD, Junkworld TD keeps on trucking with its latest additions, and they’re sure to please fans of this strategic tower defense game. Yes, it’s time for the second part of the Underground Update, and that means you’ve got more stages to play, more missions to complete, some new enemies to fend off, and a new hero, tower, and tactic to use in service of those goals. Hopefully that will keep you busy until the next update! If not, you can make your own Junkworld in your very own room by strewing garbage around until insects show up. Good luck defeating them! (TouchArcade does not endorse or approve of inviting insects into your room, never listen to anything Shaun says ever. -Ed.)

Gear.Club Stradale, Cars! But not the Disney and Pixar kind! Just normal cars! But cool ones! I got a discount on exclamation points but I had to buy them in bulk and I’ll be darned if I am letting them go to waste! So this whole paragraph will be using them! There is a new car in Gear.Club Stradale! It is a reworked Pagani Huayra Roadster, courtesy of Tekamura Performance! Head to the Super Carta Stradale this month to find it! And I’m all out of exclamation points! That was exciting.

Gardenscapes, Free Okay, I have to proceed with caution now. I accidentally burned through all of the exclamation points so I can’t express excitement for the rest of this article. Anyway, here’s our obligatory free-to-play matching puzzle update for this week. It is Gardenscapes. Fuzzy Season is here. It has bunnies. We like bunnies. Apparently there is also a jungle reality show? And for some reason, Austin and company are heading to a Greek island to find the Lyre of Apollo. What on Earth do they need that for? Also in this update: Austin attempts to prove aliens exist. I want to show my shock through punctuation but I cannot.

Asphalt 9: Legends, Free Okay, this seems like an adequate place to finish up. The Italian Revolution arrives in Asphalt 9, and it brings some cool new cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Alfa Romeo, and more with it. New Overclock Chips allow you to soup up your cars even more than before, and Seasonal Tokens are being phased out after a very negative reaction from players. There are some other cool things in here, but I’ll leave them to you to discover because I can’t do them justice without my exclamation points.

That about wraps it up for last week’s significant updates. I’m sure I’ve missed some, though, so please feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think something should be mentioned. As usual, major updates will likely get their own news stories throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the blanks. Have a great week.
