Bengals Exec Confirms Trey Hendrickson Contract Status Amid Trade Buzz While Announcing Draft Plans Amid Defensive Issues

Even after producing back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons, leading the league on both occasions, Trey Hendrickson’s future with the Bengals still remains in doubt. Having opened their offseason voluntary workouts today, their director of player personnel, Duke Tobin, gave an update on Hendrickson’s unresolved contract. “There’s no real new information on Trey. I’m glad he’s on our team. He’s been incredibly productive. I’m glad he’s here.”

Tobin also wanted to add that the defense still remains his priority ahead of a crucial 2025 campaign. And he also looks forward to adding more picks, considering they only have 6 in the upcoming draft.
